Front Remove all fasteners from bracket, and set aside with corrosponding well nuts or rubber washers. Raise the vehicle for access to the underside of the front fascia, and secure with the parking brake and wheel chocks or jack stands as necessary. Clean the area where the bracket is to be installed, and apply masking tape to protect fascia. Mark center line on bottom of fascia. Tip: use fascia shape and fasteners or indents/markers underneath as guides. Fully thread 15mm long screws in bracket without rubber washers or license plate. Hold bracket flat against bottom of fascia with exposed ends of plate mounting screws touching masking tape against front of fascia. Mark the three mounting holes on the flat part of the fascia bottom. Remove the plate screws from the bracket and set it aside. Drill marked holes with 1/2" spade bit, and insert three of the well nuts into the holes. Remove masking tape. Attach bracket with screws that were included with the well nuts. If installing the license plate without a decorative plate frame, install the rubber washers between the bracket and license plate. The washers absorb vibration, and allow a margin of space, so the plate screws do not touch the fascia. Install the front plate onto the plate bracket with the two 15mm screws. |

Rear Set the license plate in the desired location on the rear fascia, and mark the holes to drill for two of the plate holes. Set the plate aside. Drill the holes for the well nuts with the 1/2" spade bit. Press the well nuts into the mounting holes. Attach the rear license plate with the included screws. Done! To care for your Deyeme Racing license plate bracket, simply wash with soapy water and rinse. The aluminum alloy is corrosion-resistant, and will form a protective oxide coating. A coat of automotive wax will help the bracket maintain its luster. You may also polish, paint, or coat the bracket to match your personal taste. |
