Project Overview
After a few years of missteps in the small car arena, Chrysler has finally hit the nail on the head once again, with the 2013 Dodge Dart.  Not only did they bring back a good name with a good reputation, they merged Italian and American engineering and design into a beautiful example of what the future could hold for Chrysler.  We've been waiting for a new project car with this kind of potential, and the wait is finally over!

11/01/2012: We ordered our 2013 Dodge Dart Rallye from a local dealership, and waited a nail-biting three-plus weeks for it to arrive.  In mid-October, it finally arrived.  Since then, we've been putting miles on it, and planning a host of mods to increase every aspect of its performance.  The plan for Speedy G is a daily commuter, with a balanced approach to improved performance, keeping an eye on gas mileage.  Our first mod, a tempered aluminum alloy license plate bracket with anodized alloy fasteners, has already been completed and installed.  For further information on mods, check out the Modifications page.  To see more pictures of the car, check out the Pictures page.  Items on the Mods page with part numbers are likely to be found for sale on our Products page.

11/01/2015: It seems like the past 3 years have flown by.  We started light, with a tag bracket and some nice graphite hood and deck stripes.  As the miles added up, we picked up some winter wheels & tires (Speedy is a daily driver, after all) installed our solid poly mounts, and went to work with the CADD program, making a heavy duty tow bracket, wheel spacers, and other goodies.  The Dart now has 70,000+ miles and as a daily driver, is still doing great.  As a project car, we've designed and built many new items, which can be found on our Products page.  We'll be keeping Speedy G for the foreseeable future, and are hoping to get it to the autocross course next year.
