The vehicle should be clean and cool.
There should be no unresolved issues with related components prior to installation.
Always diagnose problems before jumping to conclusions.![]() Thoroughly read the instructions and view the illustrations before beginning. ![]() First things first- take inventory. Make sure you have all the tools and components that came with the item you purchased. ![]() Last things last- if you need help with the installation, feel free to contact us via e-mail, at help@deyemeracing.com. Fully explain what you're doing, and your question. Include pictures if possible. Position Vehicle
If using a full vehicle lift, proceed to Access Differential Mount.Drive rear wheels onto ramps for clearance, and set park brake. Chock front wheels to prevent vehicle movement. Raise vehicle near rear wheels to lift rear tires off of ramps. Support body on both sides in front of rear wheels w/ suitable jack stands. Never work under a vehicle supported by a jack alone! Always ensure the vehicle is secure and stable before getting under it! ![]() Access Differential Mount
Remove both rear wheels.Remove one of the (6) subframe mounting nuts (17mm) and then replace it four (4) full turns. Repeat for the other subframe mounting nuts. There is one at each corner, and two, set higher, mid-way along each side. Do not leave any of the subframe nuts removed! Support the differential with a suitable jack. Adjust the jack so the weight of the differential is supported, but it is not being pushed upward. |

Remove Differential Mount
Remove the two (2) bolts (17mm) attaching the differential mount isolators to the subframe.Carefully lower the jack supporting the differential, allowing it to rest on the subframe. Raise the jack slightly to maintain weight support. Remove the four (4) nuts (17mm) from atop the differential mount which attach the mount to the differential. Rotate the differential mount forward to access the Fuel Vapor System Integrity Control Module (A) (black plastic canister with rubber hose on it). Remove the two (2) screws (10mm) (B) attaching the module to the chassis. The module can now be carefully pushed out of the way to maneuver the rear differential mount out. Work the rear differential mount carefully toward the driver's side, past the studs atop the differential, the fuel vapor canister, and suspension compoents. Be careful to avoid hitting the CV boot. Once free, turn the mount vertical and remove it. ![]() Install New Differential Mount
Work the new RDM in the same way the old one was removed, and lay it forward away from the FVSICM (A).Re-attach the M6 screws holding the module, and tighten them down. Move the new RDM into place on the differential. Attach all four nuts (D), and tighten to 50 ft/lb. Raise the differential jack to position the RDM bolt holes with the mounting brackets in the subframe. Attach the two (2) mounting bolts (E) loosely threaded, until the bolt end begins to protrude from the nut. Remove the differential jack, so the differential is now supported by the new mount. This step is critical to avoid "pre-loading" the mount, which would cause unecessary vibration. Torque the mounting bolts to 50 ft/lb. One at a time, tighten the subframe mounting nuts until snug, and the subframe is fully seated on the chassis. Tighten each of the subframe mounting nuts to 85 ft/lb. Re-attached the wheels, and torque the lug nuts to 80 ft/lb in an alternating pattern. Lower the chassis off of the jack stands, so the tires are resting on the ramps (or lower vehicle from lift). ![]() Done!
